Back to School Photos

This year I have done a few back to school photo sessions. Between you and I, most school photos come back and they seem unnatural for one reason or another.

My child has such a fake smile.

My child would never pose like that.

My child’s eyes are closed.

I wish the photos were a bit more creative.

Have you ever thought of any of these reasons when you get your child’s school photos back. Well, if you have or you would simply like some extra photos to mark the year of school, please email applefreshphoto@gmail.com and lets explore the personality of your son or daughter. You will receive 20 minutes shooting time and a disc of up to 10 images so you can print all the wallets, 4×6’s, 5×7’s, or 8×10’s for family and friends.

Mr. J goes back to school ~ {Fall Harvest}

Mr. J. is excited for back to school. It is after all a time to meet new friends. For this guy it is also exciting to have a Male teacher this year because he is cool and wears shorts for as long as he can. However, lets not forgot all the new things he has bought recently. Yep, new jeans, sweater, shoes, cool new lunch kit and backpack too.

Tween A. in Grade 3 ~ {Fall Harvest}

When children hit the age of being a tween they come out with a lot of personality. Well Miss A. has decided that she may be taller but that just means new clothes, socks and of course animal print and studs. She has also learned some new school tricks.

All I want for school is my one front tooth. See!

Little Miss B. has just started Grade 1. New shoes, new clothes, longer hair with no bangs, and ready to make new friends.

Miss E is a Delight ~ {Fresh Apple, Newborn}

Little Miss E made an early entrance into the world, as she came a few weeks early. She was eager to meet Mom and Dad. She has dainty little fingers and toes and a head of hair in a wonderful colour. I am sure it will not take long for Mom to start putting ponytails and braids in her little one’s hair. I was very pleased with her debut as she was an excellent model following the rules of sleeping and posing. She even managed to place herself in some poses of her very own.

Here she is.

She has been loved very much by several important people that will surely miss the time apart from her. However, I am sure Mom and Dad will cherish every minute and be sure to share with everyone near and far.

It is always a hoot to party but this little owl is ready for a good long rest.

Miss K meets her Family ~ {Fresh Apple}

A short time ago Miss K. made her entrance a few days early. She was eager to meet her big brother and her family. After all who has been poking her these past few months? She was curious. Meet little Miss K, with her beautiful set of locks.

We made it through the session quite successfully, even though big brother had other plans. As you can see he came around. Thank you for inviting me into your home to capture these memories.

The C. Family ~ {Apple Tree, Family}

The C. Family invited me back for another year of photos. The kids are a bit taller and are not so shy in front of the camera. I would say they “hammed” it up this year. They are excited to be one year older and ready to pose.
